As part of its online sales activity, Masama may process personal data within the meaning of the General Regulations on the Protection of Personal Data (GDPR) of the European Union.

With regard to the processing of data which will be described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right

confirmation of the processing of data concerning them, information on the data being processed, additional information on the nature of the processing of the data and copies of the data (see also art. 15 GDPR);
to correct or complete incorrect or incomplete data (see also art. 16 GDPR);
the immediate deletion of data concerning them (see also art. 17 DSGVO), or, failing this, if further processing is necessary as provided for in art. 17 Par. 3 GDPR, to limit said processing in accordance with art. 18 GDPR;
receive copies of data concerning them and / or provided by them and transmit them to other service providers / data controllers (see also art. 20 GDPR);
to file a complaint with the supervisory authority if it considers that the data concerning them are being processed by the controller in violation of the data protection provisions (see also article 77 of the GDPR).

In addition, the controller is required to inform all recipients to whom he discloses data of such corrections, deletions or restrictions imposed on their processing in accordance with art. 16, 17 Par. 1, 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. However, users are entitled to information about these recipients.

Likewise, under art. 21 of the GDPR, users and data subjects have the right to object to the future processing of their data by the controller in accordance with art. 6 Par. 1 bed. f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to the processing of data for direct advertising purposes is permitted.

III. Data processing information

Your data processed during the use of our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of their storage ceases to apply, provided that their deletion does not contravene any legal storage obligation or unless otherwise indicated below.

Server data

For technical reasons, the following data sent by your Internet browser to us or to our server provider will be collected, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website: These server log files record the type and version of your browser, system operating system, website where you come from (reference URL), the web pages of our site visited, the date and time of your visit, as well as the IP address from which you visited our site .

The data thus collected will be stored temporarily, but not in association with others of your data.

The basis of this storage is art. 6 Par. 1 bed. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality and security of our website.

Data will be deleted within a maximum of seven days, unless continuous storage is required for evidentiary purposes. In this case, all or part of the data will be excluded from deletion until the investigation of the incident concerned is definitively resolved.

Order under processing

The data you submit when ordering goods and / or services from us must be processed in order to fulfil your order. Please note that orders cannot be processed without providing this data.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Par. 1 bed. b) GDPR.

Once your order is complete, your personal data will be deleted, but only after the retention periods required by tax and commercial law.

In order to process your order, we will share your data with the shipping company responsible for delivery to the extent required to deliver your order and / or with the payment service provider to the extent required to process your payment.

The legal basis for the transfer of this data is Art. 6 Par. 1 bed. b) GDPR.
Customer account / registration

If you create a customer account with us via our website, we will use the data you entered during registration (for example, your name, address or e-mail address) exclusively for services leading to your potential order or entering another contractual relationship with us, to execute these orders or contracts, and to provide customer service (for example to provide you with an overview of your previous orders or to be able to offer you a wish list function ). The previously collected data will then be deleted as soon as processing is no longer necessary. However, we must respect all the retention periods required by tax and commercial law.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our free newsletter, the data requested for this purpose, namely your e-mail address and, optionally, your name and address, will be transmitted to us. We also store your computer’s IP address and the date and time of your registration. During the registration process, we will obtain your consent to receive this newsletter and the type of content it will offer, with reference to this privacy policy. The data collected will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be transmitted to third parties.

Contact

If you contact us by email or via the contact form, the data you provide will be used to process your request. We must have this data to process and respond to your request; otherwise, we will not be able to respond completely or not at all.

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 Par. 1 bed. b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted once we have responded to your request and there will no longer be a legal obligation to store your data, for example if an order or contract results.

User Articles, Comments and Notes

We offer you the opportunity to post questions, answers, opinions and notes on our website, hereinafter jointly referred to as “messages”. If you make use of this opportunity, we will process and publish your message, the date and time you submitted it, as well as any alias you may have used.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Par. 1 bed. a) GDPR. You can revoke your prior consent under art. 7 Par. 3 GDPR with future effect. You just need to let us know that you are revoking your consent.

In addition, we will also process your IP address and your email address. The IP address is processed because we may have a legitimate interest in taking or supporting other actions if your publication infringes the rights of third parties and / or is illegal.

In this case, the legal basis is art. 6 Par. 1 bed. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in any legal defense that we may have to assemble.

Follow-up comments

Like most e-commerce players, Masama records your visits in order to display advertising to you when you browse other sites. These advertisements do not process any personal data. Third party sites that display our advertisements do not have access to your contact details. We use YouTube in its advanced privacy mode to show you videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the advanced privacy mode means that the data specified below will only be transmitted to the YouTube server if you actually start a video.

Without this mode, a connection to the YouTube server in the USA will be established as soon as you access any of our webpages on which a YouTube video is embedded.

This connection is required in order to be able to display the respective video on our website within your browser. YouTube will record and process at a minimum your IP address, the date and time the video was displayed, as well as the website you visited. In addition, a connection to the DoubleClick advertising network of Google is established.
